Doing good feels good

Recommended Posts

A while back I went on my town Facebook page and offered to give a guitar to someone in my community to, hopefully, share some of the wonderful opportunities and experiences I've had. I picked one of the stories and got to deliver on my offer today. And yeah, it feels good.

@Dutchman no lessons from me. I'm a terrible teacher. No patience for it.

Surprise yourself.  The trick is to do baby steps for both you and your little student.

That's great!  That little fellow looks pretty excited to get strumming.

So were Pete Willis' Standards. He seemed to do OK with them.😋

Can he return it in 6 months if the neck profile is not to his liking?

Seriously, that's really outstanding. Well done sir!

I have a feeling that the neck profile will not be to his liking for several years, but someday...

... and what if it doesn't sustain for days, let alone tone to die for?

Never mind if it doesn't play like buttah!

Seriously, that's really sweet. I think the lot of us should raid the pawnshops in search of underpriced G&L Tributes, import Hamers, Samicks, and Corts, and seek out impecunious ambitious guitarists.
