A great mod with the Lollar CC in neck....This is so much guitar in this piece of wood....I hope I will again be Hamer equipped later on....

The link didn't work for me, but I love G&L guitars, and I expect you do too!  Congrats and enjoy!

Love it.  I used to have an ASAT Z-3 semi-hollow.  It was a great guitar.  I've currently got a Legacy loaded with Wilde microcoils as my strat style and it's been fantastic too.

Plus with Musikraft now making G&L replacement necks again (https://musikraft.com/product-info.php?pid196.html), you can do a whole lot of customization -- nearly as easily as a Fender.

I'm a fan of hardtail Strats so something like this or a James Burton Tele is gonna be interesting. The one instrument I have in such a configuration is a custom-color Robin Rawhide; sounds interesting in all five pickup settings.

I don't have any firsthand knowledge, but I've seen plenty of positive reviews alongside the few negatives.

Plus, it's the only game in town for G&L replacement necks.  ;)  I've been lusting after a roasted maple neck and knowing I can get one for the Legacy has definitely tamed that desire a bit.

In a music store, I played a vintage Switchmaster hollowbody archtop back-to-back with an ASAT Z-3 semi-hollow. The ASAT was every bit the tone equal of the Epi jazz box, but a lot more ergonomic and easier to play fatigue-free. Also, not a historic collectible, but a lot less money.

I have a translucent red ASAT Classic semihollow that I had luthier-to-the-stars Mike Lull turn into an ASAT 3 semihollow, The pickup selections sound like an airy-sounding jazzbox/Strat with jangle.
