Hamer95USA
https://nashville.craigslist.org/msg/d/manchester-hamer-unknown-guitar/7028989339.html I was poking around on Search Tempest and ran across what looks like a heavily modified Hamer Sunburst with missing Hamer logo, serial number, sustain block bridge, back plate, relocated toggle switch, non original knobs/truss rod cover/poor quality control cavity plate. The price is cheap, but it looks it needs a restoration. Stolen? What do you guys think? Guitar George
Steve Haynie
If someone wanted to change the bridge, why that bridge? Ugh! The cost to restore that guitar by getting a correct bridge, replacing the headstock logo, putting in period correct pickups, and filling the holes is going to run up the price. That guitar better play like a dream.

crunchee
Looks like some wannabe wanted an LP in the worst way, and that's what they got. I wonder what it looks like under that homemade back access panel?

cynic
This guitar was discussed on the Hamer USA Guitars facebook page a week or so ago where someone claimed they'd bought it. The Craigslist ad is currently 18 days old and the buyer posted in hand photos 10 days ago.

Everything if value on that guitar is gone along with the additional routing and drilled holes, it would have to be free to be a worthwhile endeavor. ARM OF HAMER
Perfect example of what not to do!.If you want a Les Paul then trade the guitar in for one, or a Strat or what ever but please don't do THIS! Trying to make something into something else far from what it is never works. I know someone like Jay COULD fix this to a degree but with all these hard to find and valuable parts gone now................what a shame. Whoever did this REALLY screwed the pooch!.
