diablo175 Posted December 26, 2019 Share Posted December 26, 2019 Snagged this from Gatorbyte007 years ago and aside from a new Schaller gold trem w/ brass fat block, noiseless springs and (currently) Gravelin Mongoose/ SD Hot Rails pick ups (I'm happy to put the PATB-1 back in), I did put in the requisite toggle switch 😆. The results speak for themselves. I've adjusted the price to reflect this. This "Cali" is unique in that it started out as a mahogany bodied, maple and ebony neck case plug and Gatorbyte sank a pile of cash into making it killer! Some noteworthy features- the tumbling boomers accent a D shaped neck profile- not as narrow as some of the Cali C shaped necks I own. Also, an unfinished (gun oil) neck back for more of a Jackson/Charvel feel. This finish is a beauteous example of metal flake previously only seen from Stike. Plenty of life left in the medium jumbo frets. No issues, functionally or cosmetic.
