RobB
This popped up at a very fortuitous time. I was surfing Charvel Jake E. Lee models, but couldn't bring myself to drop $1900 for the real deal. Soooooo... Bubs posts this beauty and I had had to jump. It has all the features of the JEL model (sans middle single coil). A no-brainer. Oiled the ebony board, did a setup with .009s and adjusted the pickups. Like I told bubs, I don't hate the JB in this guitar, it sounds massive. The bridge is a solid chunk of chromed brass and the baseplate has channels for the saddle feet. No side-to-side slop, very solid. I'm probably going to replace the Lil' 59 neck with a (OEM) NOS, Duncan STK-S1n. No rush on that, though. I'm enjoying this just as it is.

Travis
That’s another one that had tempted me. Nice grab. Congrats.
bubs_42
I'm glad another one of my little castaways ended up in good hands. The original owner swapped out the neck pickup, because he didn't like the drop in volume when going to the neck. I realized after I bought it that months had gone by and I had not pulled it out of the case. It was time to send it to someone who appreciates it more than I did.
