Travis
Anyone have any experience with them? https://www.eastmanguitars.com/electric_solid_body the juniors with Lollar pickups they just put out look really tempting to me right now... RobB
They've been consistently excellent quality, including their earliest, carved archtops. The company actually has an interesting story as to how they came to building jazz boxes. Those Jrs. look pretty sweet. I can't speak to how much better they are than Gibsons or Hamers, but the price is sure right.

Are these solid body electrics made in the US or imported...?
Sugartune
Made in China, but by luthiers. High quality. They made traditional stringed instruments (and still do) before venturing into hollows, semi hollows and acoustics. Started with solid bodies last year or the year before. Very nice. Every one from any lineup I’ve played has been super. There’s a couple Id like to own. Those juniors look great!
gtrdaddy
I wouldn’t hesitate snagging one @Travis, Ive played a couple of their guitars and they were excellent. Proved to me that someone in China actually does know how to build guitars.
killerteddybear
I have one of their jazz boxes, and tried several other models from Eastman. All good stuff! I still lust after one of their 335 style instruments. They also have an El Rey model (semi hollow, no f-holes) that I covet too. I would expect their solid body instruments to be just as good. HamerDave
I've played a few. Seemed well put together. Fit and finish was nice. The ones I played were ES 335 clones and they ripped.
Dutchman
I’ve been Jonesing for a single pup rocker. These do look like an option. I can’t find a price! Anyone know the how much??
BoogieMKIIA
YouTube clip from NAMM. TGP rumors of $1300-$1400 (MRSP?). Good marketing to generate buzz, the set final
RobB
They have nicer bits (Lollar, Faber, etc.) than their Gibson counterparts. Seems like a good value.
