Hamer Monaco & M III, No Longer For Sale

Recommended Posts

I just realized that the tuners on mine are different. Pretty sure they are what came with it from the factory considering who I got the guitar from. Anyway, this is, hands down, my favorite Hamer. If yours was in a different color, I'd be all over it. Guessing you won't have a problem moving this one.

^^^^This '02 Monaco will set your fingers on fire^^^^ Monacos and their spruce tops are incredible. I have one that displaced my sprucetop Newport Pro Custom from being my favorite Hamer.

Someone seriously needs to buy this if you want a great thrill.

Wow, it looks like the Talladega sold on Reverb.  Thank you all for all the nice comments.  I'm taking the Monaco III and Monaco off the sale table.  I do need to clean more house.  However I plugged the MIII and Monaco in last night and decided I'm not quite ready to depart with these two instruments yet.  I have some other items I can clean up and then revisit my guitars.  IMO the Monaco line up and Talladega's are the pinnacle of Hamer's products.   Thanks again...

Jakeboy:  I don't know much about the tuners on your MIII except that Hamer also used the same tuners on their Newport line up.  They definitely add a touch of class to your guitar.

Actually, is the III a long scale too? I know the M is, but can’t remember for the III.

Superpro, M III are 25.5, and Monaco is short 24.75. The Superpro is the "Grand Piano" of Hamers. Big, Big, Clear Chords.

Mostly correct. The Monaco, SuperPro and MII are all 25.5" scale.
The Monaco Elite is 24.75" scale.

Actually, I didn’t know there was an MII. B)
