Jack C
I have a Fralin Steel Pole 43 in the bridge spot. It’s a really nice sounding fat single coil. I was thinking about a Strat size HB, but I’m happy with this one.

It took me a long time to figure it out and "get" the magic of Strats. The scale length and having the versatility of three pickups and those five positions...I dig it. Now, I have too many Strats. Purple Strats are cool too...

Hi Brooks. Hope the pictures shown up. Texas Toast is a small guitar company out of Denver, Colorado. They are really cool and will make whatever you can dream up. No more hearing no from Jackson and Kiesel and Jackson`s stupid Masterbuilt Charges now. I`m going with a small builder next and get exactly what I want. Thank you. sixesandsevens
My gotos lately are: Road Worn 50s Tele (MF limited edition metallic purple) Shishkov Ultimate G&L Legacy (trans green ash, maple board) For what I've been doing, the tele has been perfect. It feels great, it doesn't take up much room on a stand, it already looks like crap so I don't mind banging it into tables and sh*t when I bend over to adjust settings, and it's small enough that it doesn't endanger itself - or the doorframe - when moving through the house. 🤣

That was what we were talking about, right? We hit that joke early and often, lol. I've added, since this: 96 EBMM - Silhouette Special PDN 18 G&L ASAT 10 EVH Wolfgang Special Something HAS to get sold, and the problem is that I have absolutely nothing I want to part with even a little for the first time ever. On the block would be the Gibby Explorer, the Jackson Fusion, the G&L ASAT, or the Fender Strat. The problem is the Gibby I bought in the midst of that awful spot I was in I've talked about on the outer circle. It's a tad redundant and nothing special except it has a ton of personal meaning. The Jackson Soloist I picked up does everything the Fusion does, better really, and I have less money in it. But if I have anything as sort of a museum piece, that one with its sketchy, factory airbrushed bikini girl is just so late-era hair metal. Those things rarely show up in that shape, and just looking at it brings back a lot of good memories from the late 80s and early 90s. I will never own another Fender Strat as good as the one above for the $600 I paid for it. Just isn't going to happen. And the G&L - well, goddamnit, I want one tele. And after putting new pickups in that one, it's damn near perfect. What the P-90 took away in twang it nicely coughs backup for other cool stuff. I've had other guitars I thought I liked less than those above that I miss terribly now - my old Talladega and Charvel SoCal in particular. I know if I sell any of those, I'll regret it a bit. Believe it or not, I've had this many guitars before and more, but never have I had this money that I actually really enjoy playing.
