django49
What a talent. Even in his later years, gripped with Alzheimers. Way underappreciated. As are Hamer 12vers, BTW. Shameless pron.......
Toadroller
Shameless, but appreciated. Pretty stuff there!
Willie G. Moseley
In the '60s, he used a Mosrite Mark XII; one of the rare 12-string electrics that feature an optional vibrato. This instrument was also on the cover of the Gentle On My Mind album And although it's not a 12-er, here's another unique model he used---a Mosrite Celebrity CE-1 Mark I(full depth). ...and he posed for publicity/advertising photos with a personalized Dobro D-100 Californian hybrid guitar. scottcald
He played an acoustic 12 with the ease others play shredders with light strings.
ptm1diver
This is the version I like. Check out the Hamer.
Biz Prof
Incredible how clean and precise his 8th-note and 16th-note picking was on a 12-string. Better than most of us on six-string, which speaks volumes about how talented and practiced he was.
