Jakeboy
Greg is a friend and someone I greatly respect & dig. Yet somehow I missed this ep in 2017. I submit to you he is the reigning king of the Les Paul into Marshall. His tone is full of squawk and skronk and he uses no pedals other than the occasional wah and even rarer Ampeg Scrambler. Heavy blues rock, funk, and a scorching Catfish that would make Jimi Smile. Enjoy. https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nAmq3arzjHwO9LgPHGy3GwvS-umbd8m9Q
bubs_42
That is the only way to get that sound, just crank it and roll. Sounds amazing.

ETA: and THANKS! ETAA: Why is this guy not top of the charts? Voice. Chops. Tone. Song structure. It's ALL there! Please tell your friend: more music, please! ETAAA: Seriously! Jakeboy
For those who don’t know, Greg Martin is a founder and still lead guitarist of the Kentucky Headhunters. Check out the most recent album Live at the Ramblin’ Man Fair...in England. It rocks. He has had a couple other great side projects: Rufus Huff....and The Mighty Jeremiahs with Jimmy Hall of Wet Willie singing lead. But his main gig is the Headhunters. Just killer stuff.
