Nice little Esquire project... (Non Hamer Content) -

Recommended Posts

What do you think of this little beast?

Esquire in Seafoam Green, with a very stripey US made neck with body end truss rod adjustment - the pickup is a Bare Knuckle Flat 50s, Wilkinson Bridge, the wiring is old cloth covered with OIP capacitors and Eldred Mod.

Then just to go that bit too far, a hand engraved aluminium scratchplate with just a touch of understated engraving work 😛

Its a cool thing, and a great sounding and playing guitar as well as looking a bit special.

Here are the work in progress shots...

Not sure what to do with it really - might sell it if someone fancies it?

The guitar or the pickguard?

(Asking for a friend).

I second with David. That engraving is killer. I saw the scetch and thought, "well, that is not really my thing". Then saw what you did with it. I'd put that one one of my guitars, any day of the week. Fantastic! And combining a dragon with seafoam green, now that is a first. Totally a winner! Ha ha!
