crunchee 5,378
This may have been up on the Reverb website for awhile as I hadn't checked it this week until last night, but they've already got a "Holiday Gift Ideas"/"Holiday Buying Guide" section up now. Bah Humbug for/to having that on their website this early. On top of that, no Charlie Brown/Peanuts specials on US regular broadcast TV this season. Instead, it's on Apple TV+ only, so families will have to gather around the computer/tablet/phone to watch instead of together around the communal TV: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/charlie-brown-big-pumpkin-christmas-holiday-specials-apple-tv/ Methinks Charlie Brown already had the perfect way to sum up 2020 so far: "I got a rock." In the meantime, here's a little something to contribute to the festive mood: https://www.xmasclock.com/ And have a heapin' helpin' of Vince Guaraldi, anyway: Edited October 24, 2020 by crunchee

I mean, seriously, after burning out on the old time classics, TSO, Bob Rivers parodies, George Winston, and even Merry Axemas I & II, VG3 is a breath of fresh air. 1
velorush 5,735
Sirius XM Soultown (station 49) is usually a fantastic mix of MOTOWN and Stax recordings. Sometime around November they switch over to soul artists performing Christmas music. A fantastic change of pace. I see your humbug and raise you Al Green performing "White Christmas!" 💖 Highly recommended for the humbug-afflicted. Edited October 26, 2020 by velorush What kind of putz misspells MOTOWN?
