Steve Haynie
Sweetwater has a feature on their website for listing used gear. Right now it is free. It also a wild west situation with no buyer/seller protection. https://www.sweetwater.com/used/how-it-works Quote Please note: Sweetwater is not responsible for ads posted on the Sweetwater Used Gear Marketplace, and we have no part in transactions. We are only involved in providing the public bulletin board.
velorush
My "Engineer" let me know about that a few years back. He was very clear about the risks, but thought it might be an interesting alternative to eBay (at the time). If I remember correctly (IIRC), it was Sweetwater's answer to customers seeking a "trade-in" option (but I might not be remembering correctly (BIMNBRC)). bubs_42
If I wanted no protection and was remotely interested in trading my gear for a BBQ Pit, i'd take my chances with Craigslist. I joined when SW opened the "Used" site and haven't bought a single thing, it is indeed like the wild west.
Jakeboy
I have a Peavey Firenza that I’ll likely list there and some other low value items. I would buy low cost items there too. In fact,I often have clisters send me gear from other states after some back and forth which proves they are legit. Has worked thus far...
