What are thoughts on the Mann Made Copy? https://reverb.com/item/32826478-mannmade-usa-hamer-sustain-block-bridge-nickel The Mann sustain blocks are ultra well made. I got mine in the initial run. It’s waiting for a special project so I can’t speak on how it holds up to playing. But I’ve got a Mannmade vintage trem on my Mirage II and it’s built like a tank. I assume the sustain block is no less well made. Here it is next to the sustain block on my Talladega.
cynic
A $150 MannMade sustain block is roughly $100 better than a $250 Hamer sustain block. They're the same specs.
BubbaVO
I'm sitting on my MM sustain block for a special project too. I was very impressed with the MM vintage trem I put in a Daytona. Great stuff.
cmatthes
The MANNMade stuff is awesome. Top quality.
GuitarGuy65
John Mann made the original PRS tremolos too, and they are superior to the later 2 piece versions that PRS switched to. One of the reasons I like vintage PRSi so much!
cmatthes
I bought my PRS Custom new in 1989. That trem is SO perfect. That guitar never goes out of tune. I honestly have only played it maybe 1-2 times in the last 15 years though, sadly.
