I need to get something like a lattice for 'em. Man, I totally lost out on cucumbers this year. I also tried these little Mexican cucumbers that look and taste like inch long watermelons. Those were cool. Gonna try them again. Maybe I need a pickguard in the garden.

I need to get something like a lattice for 'em. Get two 8' pressure treated 2x4s. Attach galvanized mesh (4' or 5' width depending on what size planter or plot you have) using fence staples. Affix upright to whatever planting base you have (e.g., clamp or bungee to deck railing, screw into raised bed frame, plant/hammer ends into surrounding soil, etc...) Have twine handy to help train the growth up the mesh.
