PSA: 'Naturally Relic'd'/Played A LOT '79 Fender Strat At DGS

Recommended Posts

No affiliation.  This guitar is on hold at DGS, so it's still technically 'for sale', kinda.  I thought I'd post about it, in case someone wants to see a guitar that's had the livin' snot played out of it, instead of having been artifically relic'd.  Note the nicotined headstock and playing wear through the top layer of the pickguard:

I bought one of the first 3 bolt Strat's in the late 70's used. Put in Seymours first active 18volt pickups, wired it to a 7 way and gigged the shit out of it for 28 years. My Daytona is almost as good as that Fender Strat. So they did make a few good ones!

Very old Stars Guitars Brass Bridge . Lost a screw from 1 of the Black saddles , so found a new set of non-painted saddles for it . I much prefer Brass bridges on Stratocasters . I don't use the bar , so 5 springs nice and tight . Very full sounding !
