Hamer Sunburst On REVERB.................OK you broke the neck................twice!?

Recommended Posts

"The previous owner had the neck replaced by Hamer in the 80's due to a break, but then broke the neck again recently and had it professionally repaired. However, neck is off center and E and A strings fret out past 12th fret."

So which repair was done by Hamer and which one was "professionally repaired"? The headstock break that looks like it was glued together by a preschooler or the one where they put the neck back on crooked?

"Otherwise guitar plays great..."

Right. Of course it does.  Other that it being unplayable, it plays great.

Two crimes were committed here; one in the bald-faced lies the seller is trying tell, and the other the assfuck of a repair job that was done on the guitar.

The tragedy in this is that it is a early Hamer and that in great condition would be a fantastic guitar to own. What a tough life this poor guitar has had. It certainly COULD be fixed by someone with mad skills to do such things like MURKAT, [Jay] but the cost of doing that along with the purchase price would be considerable and it would still always be a repaired guitar and of less value should someone want to be selling it in the future. Once could be considered a accident but twice................come on, that is just plain carelessness.................put the guitar back in the case when your not playing it.

I'm pretty sure if Hamer replaced the neck, they would have done a better job at masking off for the refin, right? That poor guitar.

Like I said: lies and butchery.

There is no way that guitar was repaired by anyone at Hamer and such slander can only be made right by all of the Hamer craftsmen lining up and punching this guy in the dick.

Even the receptionist would do better work than that.
When Hamer performed a repair it was invisible. Every time, without exception.

Where the hell is Uncle Ike finding these gems?? Is the meth problem worse than I thought in Iowa and is Uncle Ike still on meth?

"The guitar was "restored" in the 80's and it has been fully refinished, both neck & body. The original owner long ago in the 60's had cut off both the horns of the guitar (see photos) and in the 80's they were replaced and the body was refinished."

But if someone could get that guitar to you..................................YOU could fix it, and make it a great looking and playable guitar once again.🙂

Looks like another F**K up that was "Professionally Restored"........................the paint job on that Strat is awful and is it just me but are those "HORNS" on the guitar  way too pointy? something looks off about that body [Over Sanded?] who knows.................another once fine instrument that hit the ditch and still looks wrong and far from "FIXED" IMHO.
