Where do you go to get film developed these days? Or is a "do it yourself" thing?

Biggest thing I tell people on the iPhone if they don't know, is to hold it like a camera and use the volume up or down buttons to take the picture. Much better feel than hitting the screen button IMO.

On my phone, I just say "cheese, shoot or capture " and it takes the picture 📸 or movie 🎬 which comes in pretty handy

You can get a wide assortment of 135 film (35mm) at most pro camera shops in the USA. And there's plenty of film developers available. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/buy/kodak-35mm-film/ci/40457 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=35mm film&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ps https://thedarkroom.com/product/35mm-film-developing/ https://lenslurker.com/best-places-for-film-developing-in-nyc/ https://processonephoto.com/mail-order-black-and-white-film-processing.htm https://everpresent.com/where-you-can-still-develop-film/ All can be digitized and/or transferred to prints. I got one primarily for my real estate photography. I like having something solid in my hand as well. Shoots waay better than I do, very flexible for a point and shoot has lasted for maybe 10 years. My $0.02.
stobro
I got a Nikon Coolpix S9700 about 8 years ago that does everything I want and probably a lot more. The camera biz being what it is, I'm sure it was obsoleted by another model about 7 years ago.
