currypowder
Beat me to the punch. One of my friends picked one up at the first show on Saturday. It sounded great.
hamersandstrats
I bought one of these at Guitar Center when they first came out. The salesperson was too lazy to look for the box. I told him it’s a brand new pedal and of course I want the box. He came back with the box about 15 minutes later. It was numbered 808. Guitar geek moment for me. hamerhead
Using Ernie's link above takes you to the Nobels pedal, but going straight to the Musician's Friend sight shows an MXR pedal. Interesting....
JGale
There is a kit. https://aionfx.com/project/andromeda-natural-overdrive/ And an update to the pedal by the designer. https://aionfx.com/project/andromeda-deluxe-natural-overdrive/

Interesting.... They sold out. So, now it's back to the original price.
Dutchman
It said for open box only, sheesh... how many open boxes could there have been? Great pedal, horseshit deal....
JGale
If mine wife were to Knagg me for my Birthday, I'd be okay with it.

Great pedal, horseshit deal.... There are a few shops selling "open box" or "b stock" to get around minimum advertised price restrictions. I've gotten a few "open box" guitars that were still in the factory packaging.
HamerCustomEr
At first, I thought, "I need another overdrive pedal like I need a kick in the balls!" Especially, one made in China. (Please do not get your undershorts in a knot. Sure, there is some decent stuff coming out of China, but there is also a lot of junk. I have read online that the ODR-1 was inconsistent in quality.) Anyway, "thanks" to the links provided by JGale, I discovered that the original builder, Kai Tachibana, has a new, updated version of the ODR-1, under his own brand, Nordland, and it is handmade in Germany. It now has a compression control and.a low-cut control. I currently have one on the way! https://nordland-electronics.de/en/products/odr-c.html Black or green, whichever, you like, and there is even a compact version for those of you obsessed with pedalboard real-estate. With my colossal size 16 feet, I prefer the bigger pedals anyway. Who is with me?
RobB
I like how the builder mentions the pedal companies that have copied his original design, warts and all. I may buy one just because he called out the circuit-bandits!
