What is this? It's listed for £120 (about $130 US) about 20km from where I live. I have messaged about it and I am waiting to hear back from the seller. Hoping I get it...

1980 Hamer USA Special.

Refin, so It's hard to know whether the pickups were originally P-90s and have been routed for humbuckers.

Looks like it had breaks at both the heel and headstock.

It’s an ‘80 Special, but wouldn’t have had P-90s.

I missed it anyways: some guy got a deal. I would have had fun with that. After making sure it was structurally sound, I'd have filled/fixed and refinished it to the highest standard and kept it...

Doh!  Of course that's right. I was thinking 90's Special for some reason.

Bummer! Well for that price maybe there were more serious problems
