Dutchman
I recently put several of these on my pedal board and they work great. I went with clear ones when they cover up the light and brass ones when they don't. I operate my pedalboard differently that most. I sit down to play after spinal cord damage from cancer. If I lift 1 leg I fall over, so nothing on the floor. Instead I use a TV tray and switch pedals on an off with my left elbow. The Barefoot buttons have really made it easier and I think for normal on the floor use they would be great too. Super easy to install too!!!
Steve Haynie
I admire your dedication to work around the problem with using your foot to switch pedals on and off. 2

jwhitcomb3
I have quite a few of the brass ones (full size and mini) that didn't agree with my gear (switches don't reliably actuate when stepped on). Message me if you are looking for some.
Menehune
Some years ago I bought a few switch buttons constructed of a 1/2" tall plastic sleeve, a topping 1" metal washer, and a 1/8" black plastic plug that fixes the washer to the sleeve. The actuation advantage seems more in the raised height of the switch button than in its width. Haven't used them much.
