Dave Scepter Posted March 18, 2024 Posted March 18, 2024 Half tempted myself...😉 Calling any Hamer fans looking for a new project to take on. I have a mid-80's Hamer FB1 for sale. Finish has been stripped from the body and back of the neck (originally white/cream). Headstock face + logo was saved. The previous owner had wrote the serial number on the back of the headstock and this has been confirmed in the Hamer logs as correct for a white FB1. Frets are in good shape. Nice ebony board with boomerrang inlays. There aren't many original Hamer FB1 (most were two pickups and you've all seen the S/S/H versions). Comes with White/Gold Hamer tuners, matching White/Gold floyd rose and a Hamer Slammer pickup. Cover plate for the control cavity and pot is included. There is a small crack by the floyd rose nut-typical of the times. I can't separate it, but if you are trained or have a good tech, it might be worth to repair before refinishing. What you see is what you get. No case, but I'll pack it well. Asking $2300 plus shipping. Email me at hamstd@gmail.com if you have any questions or need more information. thanks. Biz Prof Posted March 18, 2024 Posted March 18, 2024 There's a photo of a white FB-I in The Book that has white/gold hardware. I'm sure Dr. Fung will chime in since he's the seller, but someone please tell me that this isn't the FB in the photo and that someone stripped the finish.
