Hi Chris and Steve! Miss you guys!! For the Cruise - whatever is cheaper - Seriously, I'm not that particular - buckle rash etc. is fine - even one that needs a refin is fine, it's more important that it plays well. For the Strat - righty - and for the years... possibly interested in other...

Hello everyone! I'm looking to buy a Cruise bass - colored finish (not black, white or natural - not even sure of all the color options, but I definitely like a colorful finish). and I'm also looking for '71-'75 Strat (not a reissue, please) - Sunburst or cream are preferred - trem, not a...

I'll tell you one thing - EVH is not my thing AND I'm a barely passable bass player, but if I could play like that girl at 14...... or 48! I'd be a happy gal! The thing I loved most about the video was not the playing (though it is quite impressive to my non meedly mee ears) but how she glances...

...and looking totally bored while doing it! http://gawker.com/teen-girl-unimpressed-with-own-ability-to-slay-van-hale-509270465 LOVE HER!!!

It's hard work trying to be Tom Petersson AND Robin Zander at the same time - Ted's face will testify that you end up being a not very good version of either! But FUN! nonetheless! Thank you for hosting a super swell shindig, Bruce!

I just saw a post on fb by Chris M about this (regarding the Rick and Jane guitar) and am in shock! So many great memories of the factory tours and good friends that were made through our mutual love of Hamer. I'm so sad to hear that that era has come to an end. Hamer is, was and always will be...

Hey all - Yep. It's my annual post about a Cheap Chick show... if you are in the Des Moines area, I will be there with the girls from Cheap Chick and some of the Minneapolis contingent (Bruce McBride is a go for sure). We're playing on Saturday 10/27 - it's a free show! Find out more here...

When I picked up the 12 string for the first time after a 4 year hiatus, my fingers said, "owie!"

..not by Cheap Trick but by the revived Cheap Chick. It's been 4 years since we last played, but here we are doing it again. I'll be playing my beloved 12 string bass on a mess o' Cheap Trickness, so if you happen to be in the So. Cal area, please come by and say hi...

morningstar... funny!!! okay, I'm in! how about any of the guys in Sweet - but only the bubblegum calypso era

electric, natch. okay.. we looked at our options and my kid wants the daisy rock debutante star... a little six-string bootsy collins! i can't fault him for style points! when/if he gets bored with it, i'll rock that thing! dave - do you sell daisy rocks?

No.. it's not that I'm shrinking in my old age.. Kid #2 wants a guitar for his birthday. Any recommendations? Anyone got a used one that their kid has outgrown? oh.. hi everyone!!! Pam

HA HA HA HA HA! I *almost* look like I know what the hell I'm looking at there!

OK.. I just realized what an old timer i am... i remember Buzzy BEFORE he was Buzzy, when he was posting under his real name and was happy to start up a new account under an alias! why he would have needed an alias is... well, it's better for you if you don't know. witness protection program and...

Buzzy is definitely a must see! Frank, email me madamepamita at gmail dot com wax cylinder recording: i am recording with a fella who has arguably the best (maybe because it's the only!) original acoustic studio set up in the country. here's a visual of what an acoustic studio entails: his...
