Wow, sorry to hear that Bill. I lost my dad in Jan 05' and it was very tough. They never really leave, but the suffering stops and thats important. For me playing guitar alone helped me process weirdly enough. I imagined him in the sky listening. I wish you and your family well, Howard

Thanks Hamer. You make great guitars. Lets make the best open party get together ever. Maybe there is something really great around the corner.

I saw Sumlin play with David Johanson on vocals and that was just bone chillingly good! If you closed your eyes, there he was.........

The SOS's are really great. Dean is a good guy and his knowledge of strings is very impressive. Of course none of this means anything if the sound and longevity arn't there. So far, so good. Pure nickle, good.

I love the strings too. order them direct from LeoMuser@aol.com there is no website yet but there will be I'm told.

Hey madhatter, tell me thats a volume and tone control on that guitar please.

Is the two pickup Eclipse set up with no tone control? I like a tone control on a guitar, at least I use mine on the Newport enough to think it's needed. The comfort factor is certainly a plus. I think the natural mahogany will be nice and I hope it's fairly lightweight. Next weekend I'll have a...

Ayt least you didn't end up in a hammock two towns away not knowing where the hell you were.

"Wow! The J.Geils band is reforming. No I recall them as being a great live band. That is a show I would like to catch." Hell ya! J Geils was a most excellent party, second only to NRBQ. NRBQ would do this stint at a local Ho Jo's and the parties were legendary. I mis big Al.
