RIP Mom

G'day Bill. I read the HFC site a bit but have only just registered. My mum passed away from cancer on Sept 16th, so I know how you feel. My mum told us to celebrate her life and not to mope around too much, and I think it helps a bit if you think about the good times. Best wishes to you and your family.

I'll post again soon and introduce myself, hopefully post some piccies of my Hamers too.

Cheers,

Darryl.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. No matter what the means, it's never any easier to handle losing a parent, or any loved one for that matter.

I lost my father when I was 15, and to this day, although I've gotten on with my life, that stays with me, and maybe as it should, to keep him in my mind...to remember him, and all the good things about him when I was with him.

My deepest sympathy to you and the rest of your family.

Wow, sorry to hear that Bill. I lost my dad in Jan 05' and it was very tough. They never really leave, but the suffering stops and thats important. For me playing guitar alone helped me process weirdly enough. I imagined him in the sky listening. I wish you and your family well,

Howard
