  • Howdy, so there's no neck taper on the Hamer you're selling? It's 0.875" at the 1st to 0.875" to the 12th, 7/8th to 7/8ths?

    Thanks!

Yeah, it surprised me too. I could take a couple of other measurements further up the neck to see if it tapers a little further up.

Might be helpful to others, for me 0.875 at the 1st is just too big.

Hamer necks are hard to nail down era to era, there's a lot of variation.

That is an awesome guitar though, I'm kind of glad the neck won't work for me because otherwise I'd be getting in trouble! In fact I'm not even going to look at the ad again, well, maybe once more...  ?

Thanks again, that thing will sell quickly, have no fear.

Congrats    I own three T Pros.. At that price I would have bought it and probably swapped out another but laid off after your posting.  I hope the deal comes through.  I really love Tallys and T Pros.   Post more photos when you get it. I am have started a photo collection of T Pros. Will post when I get around to it.. Trying to figure out just how many were made.  Best regards  Tom in Cleveland

In the unlikely event you decide it's not your thing, let me know.   My daughter goes to school in Cinci.   With so few of these around, you hate to trust them to shippers

    Hi Tom,

Thanks for the message, and for backing off. I do appreciate it. I will certainly let you know if I move it.

Does your daughter happen to go to UC? My son and I took a visit there this summer and he really liked it. He's just a junior this year, so has some time to make a decision.

Sorry for the delayed response.   Yes my daughter is a third year nursing student at UC   She loves it.   Picked it over OSU, Mich State, Penn State , etc.   It is a rather large school .  The on-campus residents number about 8000 but there are quite a few more ringing the campus.   I like the rolling topography and the diversity of architecture.  The football stadium is nestled in side the campus.. Anybody can play on any sporting field (football, soccer, baseball, etc.),.  Kids take advantage of that and there is a lot of energy on the campus.  A good nursing program needs good hospitals nearby, and she can walk to the medical center (three hospital systems).  In-state tuition helps.   It was the first school she visited (other than mom and dad's) and  surprisingly it was a lot more than we expected.   Does your son have a major in mind?

Waiting to see your photos of the T Pro.    Will definitely need to make a registry of just the T Pros.
