This is probably going on ebay tonight.

1985 Scepter Purple/Red (rare color)

Got this from Steve Haynie a few months ago

22 frets, ebony board, Dimarzio Slammers, Boomerangs, non-branded Schaller licensed Floyd, Quite a few dings, scuffs & finish checking. Still, nice shape!

The characters were introduced very well, but there was no complication of the plot. The ending seemed to write itself.

Killer deal on that guitar. I'm surprised it's still available...

Number one, that video was killer! The close-up panning shots are absolutely top notch... your youtube video on this guitar is simply stunning!

Number two... the guitar is G-G-G-Gorgeous! YOU ARE FREAKING ME OUT MAN! I have ALWAYS wanted a Scepter of my own... I had one on loan in 1986 for a couple of months and they are FANTASTIC! The thing is that, I just bought THREE flippin' Hamers in the past 4 weeks! My family wants to get me some sort of help...

I could buy this guitar right now... but I think that my family would try to have me committed!

It would look sooooooo good next to my 1985 Scarab II, it needs a buddy that is it's same age ya know?

This guitar is freaking me OUT! I must have it but I don't think that they allow guitars in the mental health center.

And I live in North Carolina too... I could pick it up.

Geez! Don't make me regret selling it! You're actually quite close. I'm in Kernersville (beside Winston-Salem). It is sold pending payment though. I'll let you know if that changes.

He will ! Now I need KK mini V to pair it with...Seems impossible to find though...Actually Scepter Vee will do, got all the tools now to get the job done. ( Should've said - some project scepter vee... wouldn't want to mess with the good one)

This guitar would fit perfectly my collection. So would a Phantom GT and Scepter Vee, not to mention a mini Vee... so if you have some of these for sale please LMK.

Ahhh ha ha ha... Dave looks like a flippin' young Fernando Von Arb! lol!

I saw the Kansas cover on youtube and it was pretty cool. Dave was smokin' those riffs with those 22nd fret bends... the crowd was f****n' LOVING it. I usually work weekends but have this weekend off, though I wouldn't drive to Raleigh to even see Tool. I actually HATE live shows but would definitely come out to support a fellow Hamer nut like Dave. Hopefully I can catch one of their hometown gigs in Kernersville, I have a feeling that the local Kernersvillians are crazy about the band.

I had nightmares of trying to run down a hallway with a glowing Hamer Scepter at the end of it, but I feel better now after some self hypnosis and some self medication.

I wanted a black and red one anyway.
