On Sunday 11/22 The world musical community lost an excellent singer/songwriter/eclectic bluesman and Guitarist. His music had a Deep Passion and conviction that burned with the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Frank Zappa. although These three were rather different the passion was palpable in there music. I will miss the anticipation of a new release of music followed by the deleverance of amazing tones from his Resophonic.

Fetch on up your greasy apron.. spread your lover in the straw...

God Bless Chris...God Speed.

Chris Whitley- 1960-2005

He was a smoker, right?

My old band opened for him once back in the day. Cool gig, cool player.
