Foghat

[elduave]

My first paid, published piece. The 20 year old me would've never believed the 50 year old me would be on the air at 50,000 watt classic rocker in the nations capital and being paid to be a rock writer.

The cover:

Teenage girls comment on my Foghat shirt.  How would they know anything about Foghat?  Somehow, they do.  Older people see the shirt and start conversations.  The band is not done yet!

[Jakeboy]

Love me some Foghat! A fave band from my youth.....the LIVE album is incredible and remains on my IPod rotation.

Where do we find this RockCellar mag?

Congratulations and rock on!

Remember that great Foghat shout out Jim Carrey did at the MTV Movie Awards years ago?

It ain't the shirt. It's you.

Nice work elduave. Life's a marathon, not a sprint.

Very cool, Dave! Great job.

Life's only a marathon if you live long enough.

Much to everyone's surprise, Dave is still sucking air, so the marathon comment stands!

Lonesome Dave and Foghat are a reason double cut LP shapes appeal to me so much.

Nice article.

Great songs.  Great band.  Didn't realize they were still going.   Glad those songs are being heard.  (Cue the Foghat playlist...)

[BubbaVO]

Good work outta ya!
