I've used the Microcube, and the Yamaha THR10C; the Roland is a great little amp, but the amp sims, and particularly the effects, on the Yamaha are just better !! pretty loud too, I've used it for beach jams, with a guy playing tablas, and it coped just fine, battery life seems to be about five to six hours with rechargeables ......... biggest plus is my wife lets me keep it in the lounge !!

I think the Vox Valvetronix amps kick ass. Get the 30 watter if you want great cleans.
