RIP Ronnie,

Been a fan since the Rainbow days, and have attended several Rainbow/Sabbath/Dio shows.

/emoticons/default_biggrin.png Sorry to see you go

/emoticons/default_laugh.png What you left will rock us forever!!!

F**K!!! That sucks so bad. /emoticons/default_biggrin.png

Loved him from Rainbow, Black Sabbath and Dio. I'm glad I got to see him a few times. A giant voice!

RIP Ronnie!

first 2 rainbow lps are among my all time favorites. i love and respect the man with the voice and the passion! a sad day for rock. RIP

Cancer is a fucking bitch! Lymphoma got my grandpa; colon cancer got my dad; breast cancer got my sister-in-law but she beat it at age 30; just learned that a coworker has lymphoma a year before retirement; and stomach cancer got Dio. It's about time somebody figured this shit out.

RIP Ronnie! I'll have a "Classic Rock Monday" in all my classes tomorrow in your honor. The music will live forever.

I'm sooooo sad! /emoticons/default_biggrin.png Shit, Dio was one of my idols since Rainbow! /emoticons/default_laugh.png RIP, big man!

He was a great guy, and a talent like no other.

What a voice! And more importantly, from what I could tell in an NPR interview, a funny, smart, self-deprecating guy. We all have finite lives and it seems his was spent well even if it was cut short. RIP

This is a very sad day.

RJD was probably the most powerful voice in rock & heavy metal.

He will be sorely missed.

to me, one of the top five original heavys

rainbow rising

BS, mob rules, hvn & hell

what a throat.

rip it up

Bringing back some memories here while listening to "Stargazer", probably my preferred song from Rainbow and the one which made me really love Dio's voice. :-(
