I didn't tune in quikly enough to see her perform, but if the Patrice Pike that performed on the show is the same Patrice Pike that's played around Austin for years, she's really good.

HA! Beat me to it! I watched this last night and saw her sitting w/ the group and recognized the tats..kinda wild she's doing this show. Yep, she's good. My buddy Darryl played bass for her in Sister Seven aka Little Sister. They had a recording deal and went around the world at one time.

 
I'm gonna add my 2 cents. I liked the show last year and I'm gonna watch it again this time. One of the reasons I liked it was because of the House Band. They are awesome. Each and every one of them. I also enjoy the music. You're not gonna hear disco like American Idol.

I couple of things that bothered me. Out of the entire world, that's the best 15 available? I don't think so. I like to look at Brooke Burke but she talks too much. Plus I didn't like her outfit. She should change every commercial.

But the biggest thing that bothered me is Dave Navarro. Who made this guy God? I wonder what kind of girly shirt he'll be wearing tonight?

You make some good points. But, Navarro is actually pretty well spoken, and it is usually interesting to listen to what he has to say. Burke would just continue to look goofy if she changed outfits--someone needs to teach her how to dress (other than Navarro--I think they swap clothes back-and-forth).

I'm hoping to go to a taping soon, it should be interesting.

I don't mind Dave N. He's at least somewhat entertaining. Brooke B. is lame bore of a TV personality, no matter what she looks like.

 
I actually like Brooke - and I don't usually care for the over-enhanced, celebrity skank types like Carmen Electra and Pam Anderson. She looks nice, seems nice and doesn't say anything overly stupid. She's exceeding expectations just by doing that much.

 
Isn't Butch Walker producing and having a hand in the writing? If so fukk the show and just have him front the damn band, I seriouslly doubt anyone could upstage him.

I thought the same thing when I saw him. The Mrs., on the other hand, fawned and became week in the knees.

Check his tour dates, I think he's at the 9:30 in the next couple of weeks.

The show really sucks compared to the INXS version, but I like how the comments are getting more candid. Gilby is emerging as a pull no punches judge. How about Tommy telling Jason to shut up? Newsted looked pissed!

Most of the "14 Best Unsigned Rockers" are still pathetic. Some are totally out of their element.

 
I watched last night, I think there are maybe 2 that have the goods to front a band well. The house band is killer.

 
If that's the kind of dynamic we can expect (the Tommy Lee/Jason N thing), Supernova will last about twenty seconds. Give or take a few seconds-likely take.

Damn, Jason needs to find a band full of submissives. Unless of course, that's his bag. /emoticons/default_ohmy.png

 
None of these guys can front this band. In fact, what makes Supernova so good anyway? Let's hear some songclips!
