I really dig the tobacco/darkburst and the Shishkov Jazzburst.

Such a cool idea to keep the full reveals up to the lucky owners.

I've been wondering how you were faring with storm after storm after storm after storm. Hang on, spring will come... eventually. Love to see the progress! And I think I glimpsed my case!

 
Dude!!! It's amazing that one guy is building these the whole way through, complete with spraying and wiring!

If I ever get to have a Shishkov, I'm ordering it in Shishkov JazzBurst! That's crazy cool!

ETA: F*ck winter. Unless my neighbor comes back with his plow, I'll be shoveling my way to the road so I can leave at 6AM for a work trip. And another 5" to 8" called for Saturday! I thought I moved to the South!!!! /emoticons/default_wink.png

That Shishkov Jazz Burst has me rethinking my tobacco burst. I'd love to see a little more of that if possible.

 
The problem here is, I'm afraid Mr. Shishkov is going to create way too many enticing variations on a theme.

Couple that with original designs of equal addiction, we as a group, will find selection of our own Shishkov design frustrating at best.

I think it was tobacco, 59 burst, and vintage natural for the standard options. Unless you wanted something REALLY cool like an opaque or other choices which were subject to approval and upcharge.

Point of information (Mike, please don't slow up to answer!): my monitor shows this as amber fading red into a deep burgundy. It's a new monitor, so I don't trust it. Can someone confirm?

IF that is the case /emoticons/default_wub.png that's exactly it!

When I put in my order I opted for Darkburst, but when I saw "Tobacco/Darkburst" on my email reply I was afraid it wasn't what I originally had in mind. The Darkbursts of the original Les Pauls were as I see above - there was no brown involved, but there are so many interpretations of Tobacco Sunburst that seem to go amber to brown. What I am seeing on my monitor is... splendid!

 
Maybe more of a Darkburst? This one looks a lirttle bit darker when not in other lighting...

Been on work travel to south Florida this week (poor me) and I haven't been on the HFC until now.

These are crazy beautiful guitars. Someone said spectacular.

That fits.
