  7. Hi Guys. Okay, the time has come to sell one of my floyd equipped Sunbursts / Studios...... I'm just not giving this one much attention- not for any reason other than I'm playing my TOM equipped guitars more at the moment, and I have 2 other blue Hamers, so I feel this one can maybe go to a good home where it's going to get played, rather than sitting in its case. ( It's the blue one in my avatar pic) It's a 93, with a nice standard neck ( my 91 and 92 have really thin necks- but this matches all my other Hamers up until 2004), the quilt is extensive, but the finish is quite dark, sometimes a little 'aqua' tint on the quilt- looks great in sunlight and stage lights, but darker in normal light. I've attached pics inside and out. Has one small scuff to the lacquer right where your hand sits above the bridge- would maybe buff out as its definitely lacquer only. Apart from that, she's in great condition. Has the original Seymour 59 / JB pickups re-installed ( I had Bare Knuckles in it, but went back to the originals), Any questions, ask away.... Ideally looking for £1000 paypal gift, or transfer. Now, with the CITES rules, this one will need to stay within the EU- preferably within the UK.......... Some pics.....
  8. I just received a 96' studio with the back carved. This is new to me. All the other studio's I've seen had solid straight backs. Does any one know what years the carved backs were done ? Was it common ? When did the design change ? Wayne
  9. Been looking for this exact thing for about 10 years, and finally found one via TGP's @316guitars. I believe "corduroy" is the old Hamer term for this kind of flame maple. I used to have a blue Monaco with it.
