No actually I spent some serious time cleaning that guitar. I too always want as much information about the neck as possible, so I will describe this as best as possible and have thickness measurements every 2 frets. BTW, I AM a lefty but play righty. I am also left footed and left eyed. Great for Flatrack (counter clockwise oval) motorcycle racing but ever try finding a LEFT EYED video camera! I only set the opening amount at 2,000 PREVENT bids until I had the pics all in order. I did this for a tele pickup too @ 500. When I got all the pics up (around 2 am) I reset the tele pickup at 9.99 and the Hamer with a 1600 reserve. I would generally not raise an eyebrow about listing this at 10 bucks/ no reserve. I truly believe that no matter how many-hardcore-Hamers-lovers are here (or how hardcore the ones that ARE here), there are also many more that are NOT here. maybe they're working late on Wall St. Maybe they don't read english? Maybe there is a lefty Doctor in Switzerland just DYING to have a very nicely photographed and described 80's American guitar and doesn't even care about the name Hamer? I never got ONE offer or comment or even a compliment about this guitar from anyone on this page in the 12 odd days that I have had it on auction. So I can only assume that nobody here really cares about the GUITAR, only that they care that I came here to tell you all about it. I saw the post where people wanted pics....so I showed them. So I asked people to EMAIL ME WITH YOUR OFFER. --- EDITED TO AD: I got not ONE email about it. NOT ONE. So don't complain and badmouth me for not giving the folks here a chance first.
