diofan56 Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 This head is in NEW CONDITION. It has never left my smoke-free house. I am the original owner of this head; it was purchased at Keeper’s Music in Des Moines, Iowa. I am not sure what the serial number is. The only thing on the back panel that looks like a serial number is on the white tag. It specifies M-2001-11-0639-B. The JCM 2000 DSL 50 is basically a 2-channel amp. It has the Classic Channel (Channel A) and the Ultra Gain channel (Channel . Channel A is the Classic channel. One can dial in very nice clean/bluesy sounds. This is achieved via the Clean/Crunch button being set to ‘Clean’. It also has the typical Marshall ‘roar’ when the Clean/Crunch button is set for ‘Crunch’. Channel B is the Ultra Gain channel. There is a button for Lead 1 and Lead 2 on the Ultra Gain channel. There is also a Tone Shift button and a Deep button. One can dial in that scooped-mids sound by using the Tone Shift button and the tone controls. The power cord and footswitch are also provided.
