SouthernShred Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 An insurance bill got overlooked and the only amp I have left that I'm willing to sell, although I'm really torn up over this, is my KJL Companion head and Trutone 1x10 cabinet. The head is very much in the Marshall JTM45 tonal arena with a hint of AC30. It's Class A with 2 6550 power tubes. It's built like a tank and sounds amazing. It really pains me to sell it. It's a non-master volume amp and the midrange control has a push/pull pot to change the midrange cut resistance value. If you're within driving distance, that'd be great (Atlanta folks), but I will ship it. The speaker cabinet has a Weber blue pup in it and is wired for 8 ohms. The head is switchable from 8 to 4 ohms. Since this is a prototype and I'm not the original owner, I can't tell you the power rating, but it should be around 15 very, very loud watts. Primarily interested in selling it as a unit, but would consider splitting it up. The head sells new for $699 and the cabinet for $240 unloaded and speaker for $90 pushing the new sale price to just over $1000. I'll sell the whole thing for $750 plus shipping. I'd be interested in a DRRI and cash or a Blues Junior and more cash or something like that...even a guitar and cash...*sigh* frickin' bills
