This is an 1986 Chaparral with natural fi ish from factory. Not sure about anything now.

I see the same stain under the springs. Im not sure but Ive had it since 1993. Someone would have had to alter or strip it within 3 years. Thanks for everyone"s input. I not a lead guitar player. Im a vocalist and writer and mainly play acoustic on stage. Tim

Hamer made several guitars with a Matte or Satin finish with natural wood look. It has Never been stripped nor any gloss removed. I've had it since 1993.
