While I've had my Hamer Sunburst since '79, I can't recall considering it my main guitar for various reasons. Being a very good guitar isn't enough to make a guitar my #1 guitar. Besides, it always looked too good to use a lot. I'm looking at some email communications about it, and it looks like my #1 was finished around Oct 2004, which somehow doesn't seem right because it seems like I've been playing it longer than that, but I guess not. This one: But that's just as likely to be replaced by a different #1 if I put together something I like better. Which is pretty much a matter of having the money to buy the parts, and if the parts are available. Shouldn't be too difficult, but sometimes it takes some luck. Pete
