The best concert pairing was probably Buddy Guy / Jeff Beck last year at the NIA in Birmingham. 4 rows from the front in the centre. You could hear peoples jaws hitting the floor with Beck! Every time i've seen Rush over here(hold your fire(which was taped for Show of Hands) and R30 tour) they haven't had a support, Eric Johnson or Steve morse would have been cool (just trying to get my head around the 'Are you experianced' backwards solo played forwards by Johnson on the Austin City limits DVD). I saw Def Leppard / Tesla in 87 as well at the Manchester Apollo, and I have to say that Tesla blew Def Leppard away. Friends left with Tesla T shirts and I bought the LP the day afterwards! Sean
