Hi all, want to trade for a 1st version duotone, +/- cash as necessary:
A nice 1994 Paul Reed Smith EG-3 in a beautiful blueburst over maple with a nice subtle flame. Really a stunner particularly with the pearloid guard. I recently got this in partial trade with intent of selling it so I have not played it much. It has some fretwear in the cowboy chord area and probably needs a good setup better than I can do with my limited skills. There are a few minor dings on the bottom edge and a scuff on the headstock, but it is about the best condition I've seen for a 16 year old guitar. Neck pocket is solid with no cracks, breaks or repairs. As far as I know, everything is original, including the PRS locking tuners, the PRS trem, the original Fralin Domino pickups, and gold PRS logo on the headstock. Great stratty sounds with a little more beef from the hum-free dominos, in a comfortable PRS 25" scale. Push pull on the tone knob, guess it is an add bridge or something. It also comes with original paperwork and some hang tags in the original hardcase. Trem arm and the trem cover are also included, just off for the pics.
(2) Fender VG Stratocaster. Black/maple. Some playwear, and the bottom VG knob was replaced with a standard sized Fender knob. Has a finish seam crack (finish only) on skunk stripe, chip through finish on rear of upper horn, and some other little dings and bumps not through the finish. Plays and works fine.
I bought it this way from an ebay seller, who had 100% rating over like 400 transactions. Comes with OHSC which has a quarter-sized puncture wound in the back, but otherwise solid. Also, this one was signed by Robin Trower on the back of the headstock. Seller stated Trower signed it at a show in Florida earlier this year. $1000 shipped and paypalled.
