  1. All, Thanks again for the interest and comments. The Phantom has been SOLD to a long time Hamer Fan who already owns a few different GT's and A5's. Thanks again and ROCK ON! Bryan
  2. Hi Zorrow, The neck thickness measures 3/4" at the 7th fret and seems uniform up and down the neck from there. Is that film-thin in your opinion (it's definitely not a "Strat" C or "baseball bat"). That goes back to my original problem - I had a "Vintage V" mod done to my stat way back and Danish Oiled it, it took some getting used to (I have big mitts too) but everything else ................... Cmatthes & All - Thanks for the kind comments about it ... it is a nice one! Bry
  3. Yeah, the # says it was originally Pink and refinished at Hamer October 2000. Don't know if Andy Stein ever owned it - but Hamer definitely wasn't foolin around when they refinished it! It is the coolest "Bumble Bee" looking color I have ever seen. I will add serial # shot to pics soon. Bryan
  4. Sorry Everyone, I've got the pics up now on the original post. Sorry Vic Croll, not sure how I got those, you do look marvellous though! Thanks, Bryan
  5. Hello All, I have decided to sell my 1985 Phantom A5. It’s in Near Mint condition, virtually flawless with the exception of a couple of small cracks in the plastic trim ring around the bridge pickup (near the screw holes) and a few pick swirls on the pick guard. Kahler Locking Tremolo and OHSC. It plays great, looks great and sounds even better. The range and choices of sounds are thrilling on this guitar. This guitar is the real deal and the serial # checks out on this site. I'm sure there are very few out there in this condition. The case is also in very good condition, but does have a few nicks here and there - nothing major. I searched almost every day for a couple of years before I was lucky enough to find it. I definitely did not buy it with intentions of flipping later. I have owned the guitar for 3 years and it has spent most of that time in its case in my air conditioned closet ….. but I have been playing my customized '79 Strat since I bought it in '82 and have never quite been able to adapt to the feel (scale length, finished neck, etc) of the Phantom (or any other guitar for that matter). I included 4 pictures. http://s1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee444/bkmusicent/ Hopefully some other Hamer fan will fall in love with it and give it the playtime it deserves. I am asking $1,000 + actual shipping costs If interested, PM me and I'll be happy to answer any questions and/or discuss details. Thanks, Bryan
