Well, I waited patiently for a Les Paul '59 reissue to get down into my measly price range, and one finally did. A well played '99 Teaburst with a couple heavy battle scars (one from a cymbal stand, I hear). Currently on Layaway. Unfortunately, the seller does not take trades on consignment items, so I need to unload a couple things. I am not looking to make any money here, only trying to trade up little. Alright, 2001 Les Paul Standard This guitar is in near perfect condition. Always babied it and even had a separate insurance policy for it. Beautiful Wine Red color, very loud and vibrant acoustically. Played mainly through a Dual Reverb 900, I always got lots of compliments on my sound. Comes in the famous brown hard case with pink lining, also in great condition. Bought in '02 for around $1500.00. Looking for $1300.00 plus actual shipping. Martin Rosewood Dreadnought Kit I received this for Christmas from my wife and her family. Although it includes all the parts to build a very nice fully bound Martin guitar, there are some specialty tools needed that I just cant see buying right now. I have only opened the box to examine the contents. The smaller bundles have not been opened. Sells for 425.00 plus shipping. $375.00 plus actual shipping. All prices are negotiable. I know they have to make a profit but, sheesh!Both places had beat up Standards on the wall priced rediculously high. (2k for a Black '95)Anyway,I guess I had enough. Got home and put it right up on ebay. Very surprised to see that it sold within the first few hours.
