gkelm Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Of the three Hamers I've owned this has been the best tone & player...and the top speaks for itself. I believe the color is Aztec Gold, or you can call it amber. Great feeling guitar--according to my walmart fish scale, weighs 7 lb, 7 oz...could actually be lighter (I think the scale tends to weigh heavy). The neck is medium profile...not huge and not Ibanez skinny. I believe the neck pickup is stock (SD 59) and the bridge is a Dimarzio (not sure which model but sounds killer). Also have a pair of cream pickup rings and set gold tophat knobs I can throw in if you prefer a more original look. As far as cosmetics....faint shirt button swirleys from general play, one finish ding on top above the bridge pup near the edge and one on the tip of the headstock. Also some "hameritis" (finish separating along the fretboard...common among Hamers)...and looks like a prevous owner had a new nut installed (bone?). Minor fret wear. PICS: http://s91.photobucket.com/albums/k293/gkelm/Hamer%20Studio/ $750 shipped CONUS/Paypal or USPS m.o. Includes OHSC in great shape. SOLD! Might consider trades: Lovepedal, Reverend Rocco, SDG Proluxe, 335-type Thanks for considering. Greg
