Hey Guys, Looking for some Parts For A 89 Chap Project. looking for a Sustainiac system, complete or parts, also looking for the battery door for this system. Also a control cavity cover for a Chapp. Thanks Steve.

I think Ihave a complete sustainiac system, a newer one not an original from a Chappy. It's not the kind with a combined sustainer/pickup option. I'll have to take a look in my parts bin. I was actually using it in a Chappy for a while that i had bought without it's original electronics.

how much you paid?

i removed mine from my 89 chap, because it eat too much batteries.

Hey George,

That battery door with the magnetic strip for the old Sustainer double battery cavity was made in house at Hamer according to the guys at Maniac Music when I last spoke with them.. I'd gotten in touch with Kim about parts that they still had in stock at the factory.. no doors lefts.. its a piece of black plastic and a glued on strip of magnet.. the magnet is on the body and the plastic hatch/door has a metal shield attached to it..

at least that's how it is on the Chap Sustainor I'm holding in my lap.. ice pearl white..ebony board and boomers..with the sustainor driver and a pup mounted together in the neck HB route.
