unfun 75 Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I have a hand-built, true-bypass MXR Blue Box clone for sale. Schematic and circuit board are from tonepad.com. Parts from smallbearelec.com. Pre-painted enclosure from pedalpartsplus.com. Assembled by my buddy, Adrian. Pics in the next day or so. If you want to know what the Blue Box sounds like, listen to Jimmy Page's solo on "Fool in the Rain."
unfun 75 Posted September 30, 2007 Author Posted September 30, 2007 Now for sale. 65 dollars or trade even for Shure SM-57, Boss EQ pedal (bass or guitar version) in VG condition.
astainback Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 I built this pedal. I like the blue davies, and will switch them out with some black mxr style knobs if you prefer.
Guest Mike Lee Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Does it have a 9 volt adpater jack or is it battery only?
unfun 75 Posted October 4, 2007 Author Posted October 4, 2007 Both. The 9v can be seen in the photo on the right side of the pedal. It uses the standard Boss style adaptor.
Guest Mike Lee Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 I guess that's obvious if you actually look at the picture. I'll take it. I always thought that tone was cool.
