  1. Here's the link to Fender's description here. The upgrades are Schaller strap locks and a Gotoh 201 direct replacement bridge. Link to the bridge specs here. I'll include the original bridge and strap buttons. These basses ship with a Fender deluxe gig bag. This bass has never been gigged and has probably left my house twice. It's in great condition. Has the Fender USA electronics and noiseless pickups which sound great. Has knobs for bass, mid, treble, volume, and pickup fader. I bought this new from Indoor Storm in Raleigh, NC about a year ago. This wasn't a GC wall hanger. Great bass for the money. I'm only selling because I never really play it and I'd rather buy guitar or drum gear. I can take more pics if needed. It's not as yellow as it appears in the photo. Looking for $450. I accept PayPal. Sells for $649 online.
  2. Just to get back on topic, that song/video that was linked in the first post contained no metal nor any mania. As for Seattle, I vote Pearl Jam because of their longevity and consistency.
  3. George Jones, George Strait, Hank Sr., Hank Jr., Merle, Willie, Waylon. Those will get you started. Forgot Johnny Cash. Doh!
  4. That's about as good as it gets for hot-rodded Strats. Awesome!
  5. Perhaps the Cali refers to the place where most of the hair-metal bands were located during that era.
  6. That last picture really looks like an '84 model. You achieved your goal, no doubt. Awesome work!
  7. My favorite part is the mini crown inlay on the 27th fret.
  8. Looks awesome so far! You gonna put a TonePros bridge/tp on there?
  9. Any opinions good or bad on these amps? Thanks.
  10. In addition to the other fine suggestions, I'd like to add "Divine Intervention" to the convo. The drummer on that CD is equally as sick as Lombardo. The first track is killer!!!
  11. That blue sparkly SG is awesome... too bad it was made by Gibson.
  12. I just browsed through some of the pics on Getty's site. Looks like it was a pretty awesome show. Page was using Marshalls and Orange heads through Engl cabs from what I could see in the pics. Bonham used a orange Ludwig Vistalite kit. Looks like they had the fog for No Quarter and the laser lights for Dazed and Confused.
  13. The keyboard part sounds really high to me. As soon as it started, before the guitar part, I thought it sounded wrong. I'm with RacerX on the Wolfie issue, I doubt he's really playing.
