shesky Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I have a custom and a carvin hollowbody coming up so it's time to move some gear. This is a 2007 fender special edition spalted tele. Condition is a solid 9.5 out of 10. A few pick/polish marks and a blem on the binding. All spalts are not created equal and this is the best I have ever seen on this model. All stock with the exception of the saddle screws being ground down so I could lower the action without carving up my arm. What a stupid design flaw, I guess it's the case with many teles. You cannot tell anything unless you remove the screws. Plays and sound amazing. Non original case is included and is also in great condition. Real duncans, abalone dots, push pull, the works. Also the lightest of the near 30 guitars I own. On my non-scientific scale around 6.2 pounds. $799 new without case and out of stock everywhere. I can do $625 shipped/insured/paypalled to the US and Canada. Drop $25 for a postal money order. No trades, and sorry for the poor pics. I broke my last camera and bought a cheapie. I can't get it to focus unless I use the flash. Let me know if you have any questions. thanks shesky Full specs:Body: Mahogany/ bound top Neck: 1-Piece Mahogany, slim"C" Shape, bound, set (Polyurethane Finish) Fingerboard: Rosewood, 15.75" Radius Frets: 22-Jumbo Scale Length: 25.5" Nut: 1.625" (42 mm) Hardware: Chrome Machine Heads: Standard Style Tuning Machines Bridge: Hardtail Pickguard: None Pickups: 1 Seymour DuncanĀ® SHPGP-1B Pearly Gates Plus Pickup (Bridge), 1 Seymour DuncanĀ® SH-1N RP 59 Reverse Polarity Pickup (Neck ) Pickup Switching: 3-Position Toggle, Position 1.
