Buster Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 The V58 is an enhanced single channel amp that operates in Class A configuration, and generates 5 watts RMS through an 8" Celestion speaker. The Class A circuit essentially runs the EL84's at full output at all times. For the tone and feel fanatic, this provides instant response, dramatic wolf tones and harmonics which are the hallmark of these classic circuit designs. The amp is in great condition, however has been modified with a Weber Signature 8 speaker. The amp has a 1 JJ EL84 in it and I can put either a high gain JJ, medium gain JJ or an Electro Harmonix 12AX7 in it for the buyer. If the buyer wishes, I can return the tubes to the stock Groovy Tubes...just let me know. This amp is also unique in this wattage because it features a line out, which can be used to send the preamp signal to a seperate power amp, or...and this is the coolest part...can be used as an effects loop by simply using a stereo Y cable...put your favorites in the loop for pure fun. The controls are very simple...Gain, Tone, Volume...so you can crank the crap out of that 12AX7 and adjust the master to taste...or crank the Volume and set your gain to taste...make no mistake, this little amp can scream if you want it to...
