Thinking about downsizing - TLE and Special

Well, I sold a guitar and an amp to raise some cash for college fees (not mine, the oldest kid's!). With that mission accomplished, I'm finding that I don't have much remorse for selling them. Why? I think it's because every time I go to play, I grab the same guitar. Always. It's my TLE, which is my favorite guitar of all time. I could grab one of the other TLE's, or the Special, or the T51. Well, no, that's not really true, it will always be a TLE. And it's always the same TLE because that's the one that's already tuned, haha.

So anyways, I can't believe I'm thinking of doing this, but I'm thinking about offering up the Special and one of the TLE's. Specials are a little easier to come by, but TLE's are pretty tough.

Here are some crappy pics...I can supply some better ones if someone is honestly interested. If you're just kicking tires please don't ask me to take more pics, 'cuz I'm lazy and the pre-season games are on. :P

This Special has been molested in the form of two mini-toggle coil splitters on Bill Lawrence 500's (these are the old original ones, they are AWESOME pickups if you are looking for a super hot searing pickup. I like them so much I bought another NOS pair when I came across them). This guitar has plenty of scratches and dings. Not a museum piece by any means, but a great player and a solid guitar. It's an '81 or '82 (haven't looked in a while) and has a skinny neck but is fairly C shaped as opposed to flat.

This is a really really clean TLE. Has only a couple minor imperfections, I can count them if you want to know, but you could probably find new guitars in the store that have more demo bumps and bruises. I doubt you'll find a cleaner example anywhere. I don't think I'll be letting this one go cheap. $350 offers need not apply. :P
